The sour vegetable fish is the anchor dish here: clean, assertive acidity from the preserved vegetables, a chilli heat that builds rather than overwhelms, and fish that stays tender instead of falling apart. It’s the kind of dish that wakes up your palate immediately and makes you reach for more rice without thinking. The supporting cast is just as strong. The salted egg eggplant strikes that difficult balance between richness and restraint—creamy, savoury, but not cloying—while the minced pork long beans bring crunch, fragrance, and a comforting savouriness that rounds out the meal. Together, the dishes show a kitchen that understands Hunan flavours beyond surface-level spice: layered heat, controlled sourness, and wok work that keeps textures intact. It’s robust, satisfying food that feels confident rather than performative—exactly what good Hunan cooking should be.

Overall the food was good. We ordered the taro fishpot with fish slices, but the texture of the fish was rather odd. Other dishes like the shredded potato, cumin lamb, tofu with minced meat and sweet sour pork were quite tasty. Will come back again to try other dishes. The service staff were all polite and attentive.

They served dish fast and efficient services. First try and I love it, going to try at other outlet and bring other friends. Beware, their dish small = pretty big portion. We ordered 6 dishes for 5 people seem a bit too much. But all good so we finished all.

Tried Luckypot SS2 and the food was really good! Fresh ingredients, flavourful soup and everything came out nicely cooked. Service was also very friendly and fast. Definitely a great place to eat — will come again!

The must-have chicken soup. Warm and nice to endeavour. Salted brinjal is not too salty and oily. In general, the food here is good! Thumbs up! Pls do booking before coming to avoid waiting for table. The food is served relatively quick!

Very delicious and standard portion for the food. Atmospheres and service is up to expectations. The soup is refillable for the fish. Will come back again

Nice and flavourful dishes overall .The fried cabbage and meat skewers are delicious. Generous portions. Popular place so reservations are recommended.
